Adam Reich

Director of Engineering

Adam joined Red E in July of 2020 as our Engineering Manager and is currently Red E's Director of Engineering. He is the gatekeeper for new projects entering the engineering department from both clients and internal requests. Like most people at Red E, he wears many hats by writing video scripts for the Red E YouTube channel, being a salesman at farm shows, going on rebuilds, and picking up anything that allows Red E to win.

Adam is interested in doing things the optimal way. He welcomes new ideas and viewpoints while balancing them with conventional wisdom. Brainstorming and implementing new ideas and processes, both internally and for our clients, brings him satisfaction.

Adam's Background

Adam grew up in Medina, ND on a small dairy farm, and his favorite farm tasks were hauling manure and bringing the cows home for milking.

He later moved to Fargo, ND, and graduated college from NDSU with a B.S in Mechanical Engineering.

After graduating college, Adam went on to work at Appareo Systems for 12 years. At Appareo Systems, he was named the "Godfather" of the IAS Blockage Monitor as he was one of the developers of the system.

Not only did he assist in the development of the IAS Blockage Monitor, but he was also the co-inventor of SpreadSense.

Adam is an important asset to Red E because he has an extensive background in Intelligent Ag products and he can provide engineering solutions to our customers and clients.

Interests

Spending time at the lake, going on dates with his wife, and cheering on his kids on their endeavors.
